OK for installing the kit, but instruction error
March 02, 2021

There is an instruction error regarding steps 2 and 12. Step 2 says to start a manual recharge then unplug the softener. So now the timer is in "Fill" mode when unplugged. Then step 12 says to reinstall the valve cam with it turned to "service". So now when you plug the softener, the valve is not in sync with the timer.

Water Softener Leak Repair

After scheduling Sears repair service for our Sears Water Softener and being stood up twice we decided to complete the repair on our own. The Sears Parts Direct helped us trouble shoot our problem and provided a Link to a U-Tube Video that demonstrated how to make the repair. We are now enjoying soft water again.
