Gas stove ignition switch harness

The review would have been 5-stars, but for having to return the first part received due to shipping damage (it was shipped in a bag instead of a box and two of the switches were received damaged - there are delicate plastic parts needing better shipping protection). I also lowered the review, since the cost for the return had to be paid for by me; i.e., Sears parts packed it incorrectly, and should have pick up the shipping costs for the return. I did call customer service and ask for the second shipment to be better packed, in a box (it was shipped in a bubble wrap bag and managed to arrive intact). Lesson here is that the company can save the cost of returns by improving their shipment packaging and simultaneously improve customer satisfaction (nothing more frustrating than waiting for a part that arrives damaged!).

Igniter switch harness failure

It works well, fairly easy to install. However, this is the 2nd time I've had to replace the harness since I purchased the stove in 2015. That's not a good thing to have to replace an expensive part that often.

Wrong Harness

It would have been easy to install, but it was the wrong harness. It looked in the photo like what I needed, but it was clearly not right. Mine had clips on the plastic parts, this one did not. I'm sure it was simply for a different model, but this was what was recommended when I searched my model.

I ordered a Range Igniter Switch & Harness - Part # 316580615 - But I received a Burner Crown - Part # 5304521016 - Not even close - Mistakes are made by everyone (certainly myself included) - Thus my lowered Overall Rating - Sending the Burner Crown back 7 to SearsPartsDirect, their return procedure is very easy -

The Range Igniter Switch and Harness Assembly fixed my range oven spark problem ( 1 out of 5 was not sparking). It saves a tons of money which we have to buy a new kitchen gas range oven if I couldn't fix it. Thanks for shipping out the right part.
