Disappointed in Sears Repairman
Sears repairman came out and told us that it would be $750 to put a new control panel in our dishwasher that suddenly stopped getting power. I asked him if there was some sort of fuse that could have blown and his response was, "No, there aren't fuses in these digital control dishwashers." He walked out the door and I went online and discovered that it did indeed have a fuse. 2 days later this arrives and my husband has it installed in 15 minutes! So very disappointed in Sears but really happy with this part and website!!

Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
A relatively inexpensive repair.
The dishwasher just stopped working mid cycle. No indicating lights, nothing. This has happened several times in the eight years since we've owned it and all I ever had to do was shut the power off for an hour, then turn it back on and, back in business. Basically I think some computer chip overheats or maybe the thermal fuse can reset after cooling. Since this procedure didn't work this time I shut the power off so I could safely remove the front panel. Using the schematic I was able to ID the Thermal Fuse. Then using a ohm meter I found it open circuited. Before ordering the fuse I turned the power back on and found 120VAC was present on one tab but nothing on the other. The fuse was replaced a few weeks ago and the dishwasher has been working perfectly. I was not able to ascertain the reason for the failure. Maybe because the dishwasher is 8 years old the fuse just failed due to fatigue.
