Very Disappointed
Very disappointed. I was sent a used element. The element was covered in lint and there were a bunch of scrap wires in the box.

Part worked great! Issues w/ ordering & connectors
First attempt at ordering was cancelled with no explanation. I called customer service and they put the order in for me again. Heating element arrived in a reasonable amount of time. Connectors did not match the original, so I had to improvise. Once installed, the part worked perfectly.

Some difficulty
Should have taken about 20 minutes but 2 screws on element housing were difficult to access. I enlarged hole in dryer cabinet to help with extension socket access .

Sears is an amazing company. Our dryer is over 40.
Dryer over 40 years old and heating element went out. Never expected them to have a part to replace it and they did! Sent it within two days my husband put it in and it's working

Poor design
This whirlpool dryer is poorly designed. Heat element cover normally is in a two piece design and this one is one piece making it very difficult to remove.

MINOR ADJUSTMENTS
THE ELECTRICAL WIRES INTO DRYER I HAD TO REPLACE FROM HEATING ELEMENT AS THEY WERE DIFFERENT CONNECTORS.
