The belt worked fine but didn't solve my problem of the mower having little ability to move. There's not much power. Wasn't the drive belt. The mower has to be replaced. Wasted $100.

Keeper bolt on transmission'pain in the wazoo!

To put the ground (engine to transmission) drive belt was a pain. On my older model 917 the pulley on the transmission has a keeper bolt than barely allows room. No utube showing how. Once I figured it out was able to get it done. Do not! Remove this bolt completely, loosen it enough to remove the belt. Had to remove a lot of parts to get the bolt back in place. The belt I bought was excellent.

Waiting for an additional part that was not in the package when finally delivered. Without a packing slip I might add, must be standard procedure. One order showed coming out of round Rock tx then from California to Pennsylvania something is not right. I understand the company went under, and glad some can by these parts. Why with a hassle is my only complaint.
