Reviews
excellent fit
As a former appliance tech I was familiar with this job. Remember to get a new tub gasket as the old one should be cut for removal. Inspect the center post for rust. I recommend using the special tool for the spin basket retaining nut.

The ease of installation is relative.
Not too difficult to install, but I know my washer....First time through the process could be challenging to the novice.

Part difficult to remove,New part easy to install
Installing the part was not the issue. Removing the spanner nut and inner tub to remove the old outer tub was much more time consuming then most instructional videos on Utube show. The spanner nut took a 3LB mini-sledge and liquid wrench to break loose. When I went to pull out the inner tub, it simply pulled the outer tub and tranny upward with it which is all attached with springs below. spent close to 2 hours of using liquid wrench and a rubber mallet to beat around center of the inner tub that rides on the tranny shaft. I was actually contemplating busting through the old outer tub to get something between the transmission and inner tub to pry it off, when it finally broke loose.
