Exactly what I wanted/needed

The customer service rep was most helpful in finding the part that I wanted/needed. Because of Covid, I was not able to replace my old broken Amana with another one -- got a Whirlpool instead. The Amana had a dairy bin but the Whirlpool does not and that part isn't available with the current Whirlpools but the parts between the two makes are pretty much interchangeable. The customer service rep found the part, ordered it for me with assurances that it could be returned if it didn't fit. The part came with easy-to-follow installation instructions so I was able to do it myself. Color me happy! Keep a record of all your model and serial numbers for all equipment (old and new) because most parts can only be identified by model and part numbers -- not by description of the desired part.
