Super-easy to install on my oven model.

The newer ovens don't have an extra back-plate to remove, so installing a new temperature sensor is as simple as turning off the oven, shutting off the gas, unscrewing the retaining screw, unplugging the old one, plugging in the new one, and putting it back in. Probably the easiest thing to fix yourself.

The basics were okay and it fit in the hole. However it did not have the matching plug, so I had to cut the one off of it and wire nut the old plug onto it.

Sensor was easy to install, but it did not fix our problem of wildly fluctuating temps. According to internet advice, replacing the sensor was the first (and less expensive) step to try to fix the problem. We are scrapping our 16-17 year old stove now and will buy a new one. The part was fine, but our stove is toast.

wrong adapter but made it work

The adapter on this temperature sensor didn't match that on my oven even though it was supposed to be the right one. A couple of ceramic wire connectors and a pair of wire strippers solved that problem easily enough though.

Connectors didn't match

The connector on the new part was different and wouldn't fit. There were instructions in the box that said to "cut the connector off and splice the harness and probe wires together." There were no polarity markings, so I had to assume it didn't matter how the wires were spliced together. I called the help line and was told they didn't have any information about it.
