Door seal WPW10497235 seals the gap between the opening to the dishwasher tub and the outer edge of the door.

After installing the door seal, shut the dishwasher door and leave the door closed for several hours to properly seat the new door seal.

Inside door seal

When my hubby went to put on the new seal it was 4 inches to short. So I had to call the parts center, spoke with a man who's English wasn't the best. He said the prev call center employee ordered the wrong seal. So here I am waiting for another to arrive.

It took longer than I thought it would but still not bad for this amateur. It took about thirty minutes not including the time it took to run to Lowe's to buy the tool. Good video on the installing on YouTube.
