Water Filter Cap
I bought a home with a side by side refrigerator which had a ice and water dispenser. Needless to say it had a filter. However the filter cap was not one the filter and since the frig is stainless and black, the white filter, which was white, really stood out since the kick plate was black. It was easy to place on the filter and looks great.

Could not be installed.
On line, it said that cap was replacing the original cap for my refrigerator, however, it does not work with my frig, It does not have the little slots that catch the the ridges on the mechanism whereby it is supposed to be attached. It simply falls to the floor each time I try to attach it.

Backorder and unavailable
Item was backorder and unavailable until I tried to cancel the order. Received an email the item was still unavailable after weeks of waiting and tried to cancel the same day. Couldn't cancel because somehow the item had already been shipped. Expensive to ship and long wait times.

Ridiculously over priced
With shipping this 3 in wide plastic cup which could not possibly cost more that a few pennies to make I was charged $48. This is total extortion.

Light plastic but does the job
Our old one got busted by some one forcing it on, so it fell off every time you sit the door of the refrigerator. It's nice to have one that works and stays on.

Necessary part buy expensive!!
This was a necessary part to get the water filter in place and out again. However, I thought For $25 it was very expensive and then to add another $10 shipping charge for an item that weighed next to nothing was outrageous!
