Just removed the cover from the back of the refrigerator. Press down on the rings that release the water tubing. Take out the two screws that hold the valve. The tubing on the outlet side is two different sizes, so can't mess that up. Tubing just inserts into the new valve so no worries there. I now have ice and water again. Installation is reverse of disassembly.

Installation was straightforward enough if you're used to the press-in style fittings . Just remove the old one off the frame and swap the connectors one at a time.

I have a maintenance agreement but was told I must pay for and order the part before the technician appointment. There is no paperwork in the box. How do I send back the part? I don't feel I should have been made to pay for the part as it is under a maintenance agreement. Where do I send back the part?
