Door latch assembly A00099902 is an original equipment manufacturer (OEM) part that fits some dishwashers in these series: Kenmore 587; Frigidaire FDB, FFBD and LFBD; Crosley CDB; and Kelvinator KABD.

Door latch assembly A00099902 is at the top of the dishwasher door and keeps the door closed when the dishwasher is running.

This door latch assembly includes both micro-switches that detect whether the dishwasher door is closed.

Replaces original door latch assembly part numbers 154535503, 154556703, 154702403, and 5304490366.

Turn off the power. Be sure to mark the wire locations before you take out the old one. Worked like a champ! Best price for once. I do a lot of appliance repairs and this is the first time in years that SEARS was the best price for the same part.

The original latch on my dishwasher was loose and not latching. I was able to quickly find the replacement part online and completed the installation within 10 minutes, with no previous experience. There are a couple useful Youtube videos, so do search for how-to videos.
