Part Information
Ice maker DA97-00258J includes the ice mold and the control device. The ice maker receives water from the water inlet valve and then holds the water in the ice mold until the water freezes solid. It then automatically ejects the ice and refills to continue the process until the ice storage bin is full.
If your ice cubes seems small, it could be time for a new water filter. You can find your filter here.
Safely store any food that could deteriorate while the power is off and unplug the refrigerator when installing this part. Wear work gloves to protect your hands.

Part works great
Easy to install. One thing to be aware of is that when the unit cycles to drop the ice, the tray bends a little. This is normal. Also make sure you unplug the fridge for 20 sec and push the ice maker reset button after you turn it back on.
