Part order problem - Keep and use your Repair Part

I needed a Water Level Switch for my Kenmore Series 70 Model 11026752501 and called Sears Parts Direct to order it ($19.89 plus tax and $9.99 shipping, total $30.94). They sent the wrong switch, which I returned for credit using their UPS return label. I then re-ordered the part, using my Repair Parts List, and received the correct one: ($55.31 plus tax and no shipping - already paid on wrong part - total $58.24). Once I got the Control Panel off (no instructions on how to do this; I pried it off, breaking the 2 clips in the process), installation of the part was reasonable easy. I had to then order two 1" metal clips what cost an unbelievable $12.48 each, total $24.96, plus tax and shipping).

Suspicious packaging and possibly used

the part seemed to be used and it was not in original packaging it was in a return packaging from someone in New Jersey. Was not told the part had changed either

The part was easy enough to install once I You Tubed it. It did not come with any instructions!
