Special details: To replace spinner 8193768, remove the feed tube from the dishwasher tub and pop the old spinner out of the tube. Insert the mounting pin into the spinner mounting hole and the bushing through the spinner. Push and lock the bushing into the mounting pin and then reattach the feed tube.

This water feed tube spinner (part number 8193768) is for dishwashers.

Water feed tube spinner 8193768 distributes water from the feed tube across the top of the dishwasher tub to clean the dishes below. The spinner comes with the spinner mounting pin and the spinner bushing.

Wear work gloves to protect your hands when installing this part.

Fairly easy to install since I have to replace it every 2-3 Years. The center locking tip is what keeps the spinner in place and normal wears out.

Old Part Surprisingly Easy to Obtain

It is trivial to install this replacement spinner, and it was quite surprising it was available given the age of the dishwasher. The only downside was the >$20 cost for a plastic insert likely costing well under $1 to create. Then again, it had to be stocked for over a decade and that and handling are not free, so overall well worth it.

Dryer was only half cleaning the dishes. The spinner, inside and at the top of tub, was badly worn and appeared to be not turning. Ordered the replacement part, arrived on time, and was very easy to install.
