I repaired the last part that I ordered. because I needed to get my microwave just to open!I then searched all over the internet to find a replacement.I thankfully found one here at a very reasonable price. Thank you, thank you, thank you very, very much!!!!! Now I don't have to buy another microwave/oven combo!!!! It installed easy, less than twenty minutes.

Install with caution - DANGER - HIGH VOLTAGE

Isolate electric supply. Need to pull combo oven/microwave out of cabinet onto bench. Need set of special security screwdrivers to open microwave cabinet. Note lethal charge can remain in the high voltage circuitry. If you don't know what to avoid, don't open the cabinet. Depending on how the original part failed, you may need to disassemble the front panel to replace the lever. Note I got this slightly wrong first time resulting in a microswitch getting displaced on pushing the door release. This caused a short that blew the fuses -which are not easy to obtain...So, be careful and make sure everything is in the correct place.

Microwave and oven are one unit. Getting the unit out of the wall with brick on both sides was difficult. After that we were able to open microwave door, determine what was broken that had kept the door from opening and then obtaining part and then all went well.
