Replacement of control board

It was a very easy fix to replace the board. A few screws and the removal of the old one. Popped the new one in, and put the back on the range!

The control board was relative easy to install. The only minor problem was the screws on the range. It took me more time to find the right wrench to remove the orginal screws.

This was an easy replacement. however the manufacture needs to make a better control. this is the third unit for this stove. 1st one was factory the next two were installed by me. I see that the part number fits many different models and they all probably have the same failure rate. Run away heat in the oven is the symptom. If you do decide to replace it, the cover pad or number pad is difficult to reuse, unless you take the whole pad by unplugging the ribbon tape and reusing the entire touch pad. Then you should be able to save the black pad. otherwise order the pad for another $40 bucks. Good luck folks. P.S. take pictures before you remove the old one.
