Phone rep ordered the wrong part

I called in a phone rep found a part that they claimed would work with my oven. I gave them my specific model number and they said this was the part for it. I called back to complain and return it, and they just tried to sell me additional parts that don't solve the problem! It's not, like, the part's fault, or even the phone rep. It is Sears Parts Direct fault for directing their customer service reps to prioritize selling any part to the customer vs. actually solving the customer's problem (or telling the customer they don't carry the right part).
