Not easy to install... impossible
To get to it the tubs had to be removed. The shaft connects the inner and outer tub. The youtube video shows the inner tub being lifted out easily. As it turns out the inner tub was fused to the shaft and could not/would not come out. The tub was essentially unusable because it could not be removed. The cost of the inner and outer tub was well over $700, and that was just for the parts, a new complete unit was $1050. So for a unit that was less than five years old, I would say Don't buy it!
