Installation difficult

The port sizes didn't match up to the water lines that needed to be connected. I had to purchase a reducing coupler to make the connection work. Also the prongs on the solenoids did not match the plugs and had to make an adjustment for that as well. Lastly, the orientation was not the same and had work around that issue on my own because the instruction were useless.

Easy to install

I had trouble ordering online so I called the 800 number. The call taker was was great. The part was delivered within a week. It fit perfectly. I saw a video on how to install the part and it was VERY helpful. Be advised, although it works GREAT, it does make a lot more noise that the original part, both with using the cold water and making ice cubes. It took a little over 30 minutes because I also cleaned the coils.

straight forward, just undo and redo, watch video on utube. one connection was a nut with farrell, just cut it off and install like other two connections.
