Reviews
Not that easy to install, but worth the time
This is a nice product. I am glad that I was able to order through Sears. Took some time to swap EVERY part from the broken chassis to the new chassis, but is a lot cheaper than investing on a new riding mower

GT6000 Replacement Chassis
The chassis was very reasonably priced including shipping. It was delivered by UPS within a week. It incorporated the revised rear axle weld detail but was unchanged in the rear section where mine failed due to fatigue. I added a cover plate to the bottom flange on both sides before installing the chassis. The plates were 1/8' thick by 1' wide by 26-1/4' long welded to the bottom of the existing chassis stringer, at the rear. Once this was complete it was a matter of transferring all the parts from the failed chassis. It is tedious but straightforward. Take lots of photos!!

Bad quality control!
I had to take it to welding shop to get a bad weld repaired. Whoever welded it the first time needs glasses!
