Not really hard to install - just took the other one out an put this one in. Just disappointed that the first basket had pieces fall out of the bottom so I needed a new one so my utensils wouldn't fall through.

Our dishwasher is at least 10 years old, but we were able to get the exact silverware drawer to match the original, which was fully apart. Replacement pieces are expensive, but a lot less than a new appliance.

The old silverware basket had holes in the bottom from use for 9 years and silver ware would slip through the holes and stop the basket from sliding in and out. Just needed a new one.
