I did not have to remove the upper rack to install the spray arm. I just needed to make sure I turned the mating part enough to latch. It took just a few minutes to figure out.

WAY OVERPRICED!!! it was double the cost from other sellers (probably a good reason why Sears is dead). I called to cancel the order when it was still in the "on backorder" stage and was told that TaDa! i just shipped as we were talking, so Sears wouldn't stop the order or accept a return.
