Outlet thermistor (temperature sensor) resistance is too high or too low
Check/Repair
The outlet thermistor (temperature sensor) detects air temperature coming out of the condenser heat exchanger. Clean the lint filter and heat exchanger fins. If the problem continues, unplug the dryer and check the resistance of the thermistor. At room temperature, you should measure around 50K ohms of resistance through the thermistor. Replace the thermistor if resistance is off by more than 5K ohms.
Possible parts
Outlet thermistor DC90-10128G

Compressor thermistor (temperature sensor) resistance is too high or too low
Check/Repair
The compressor thermistor senses temperature around the compressor inside the cabinet. To make sure that the compressor area is getting proper air flow, clean the lint filter and clean the heat exchanger fins. Make sure that the dryer is installed properly with proper clearance on the sides and back of the dryer. If these tips don’t help, unplug the dryer and check the resistance of the compressor thermistor. At room temperature, you should measure around 50K ohms of resistance through the thermistor. Replace the thermistor if resistance is off by more than 5K ohms.

Drain tank overflow
Check/Repair
The control detected that the drain tank overfilled 3 times in a row. Empty the drain tank. If the drain tank isn’t overfilled, unplug the dryer and test the float switch. Replace the float switch if it’s defective.
Possible parts
Float switch
AC
Control board communications error
Check/Repair
Unplug the dryer for 3 minutes and then plug it back in. If the code reappears, unplug the dryer and check the wire harness connections between all control boards in the dryer. If the wiring connections are okay, then you may need to replace the main control board.
Possible parts
Main control board
3C1
Drum is overloaded with too much laundry
Check/Repair
Remove some items from the dryer to reduce the load size. If the dryer isn’t overloaded, worn drive components could be causing the 3C1 code.
Possible parts
Drive components
3C, 3C2, 3C3, 3C4, 3C5, 3C6, 3C7 or 3C8
Drive motor failure
Check/Repair
Unplug the washer and check the wire harness connections between the drive motor inverter board and the drive motor. Reconnect any loose wiring connections. Check the belt and all drive components. Replace any worn drive components. If all drive components and wiring connections are okay, you may need to replace the drive motor inverter control board.
Possible parts
Drive motor, drive components, belt, inverter control board
9C1 or 9C2
Power supply failure
Check/Repair
The control board detects under-voltage or overvoltage. Unplug the dryer for 3 minutes to reset the control board. If the code returns after you restore power to the dryer, check the voltage supply. If the voltage supply is normal, you may need to replace the electronic control board.
Possible parts
Main electronic control board
AC4
Communication error between the main electronic control board and the Wi-Fi control board
Check/Repair
Unplug the dryer for 3 minutes to reset the control board. If the code returns after you restore power to the dryer, unplug the dryer and check the wire harness connections between the main electronic control board and the Wi-Fi control board. Reconnect any loose wiring connections. If the wiring connections are okay, you may need to replace the Wi-Fi control board or the main electronic control board.
