It was the correct piece and it fit correctly

The only problem I encountered was that the shaft that the knob had to slide onto had a metal clip on it which was not required with this knob. Until I determined that the clip had to be removed from the shaft, the knob did not slide all the way on. Once I determined I had to remove the clip, it was an easy instal.
