Ice maker fix
The ice wasn't dispensing it was a Axelrod shaft auger shaft I believe they call it take off the ice bucket remove two screws pull the shaft out put a new one in $60 my insurance for the house wanted to give me $2,600 towards a $8,000 refrigerator I fixed it myself because they said they couldn't fix it haha what a joke

Easy fix for Ice maker dispenser.
This was an easy fix, only 2 screws to remove ice maker shaft. I would recommend replacing the Refrigerator ice dispenser driveshaft seal at the same time. I would have replaced the Refrigerator ice crusher coupler, but there was a good chance the rusted screw head would fail, not worth the risk.

Worked Great - Here before they promised
First the part showed up at the house at least 2-3 days before they promised. The only problem was that I couldn't find instructions on the website. So at first I thought I would have to remove the motor to access the shaft and I was about to give up. Then I thought.... maybe I can pull it straight up and out and sure enough it came right out. Instructions: 1. Remove ice bin; 2.Locate the shaft, it is just below the auger on the ice bin, about 1/2" is showing; 3. Remove the two 1/4" hex screws on the plastic housing that holds and centers the shaft and remove the housing; 4. Pull the shaft straight out (you may need pliers to grab it); 5.Slide the new shaft in, turn it until it is seated in the motor; 6. Replace the plastic housing and hex screws (from step 3); 7. Replace the ice bin; 8. Make yourself a drink, you earned it!
