Door closes properly now
Oven door was not closing (gap at the top edge) so we decided to try replacing the hinges and that did the trick! Closes tightly now.

Worked well, but screw holes were not threaded.
I purchased this kit because the oven door was no longer closing all of the way. I found the "pockets" into which the door hooks were slightly bent where the hinge pressed into them. Replacing the hinge and pockets fixed the problem and the door once again closes completely. To replace the hinge itself it is necessary to disassemble the door. Not too hard, but took some time and was a good opportunity to clean in between the panes of glass. The big issue I had was the new "pockets" that came with the kit into which the doors hook. The kit came with machine screws, but the pockets did not have tapped threads (two holes in each pocket). Since I didn't have the correct tap I had to manually cut the threads using the machine screws. FYI, the screws are a combination phillips and square drive. To cut the threads using the provided screws I found that using a square drive driver instead of phillips was much easier. It would be great if the screw holes were either pre-tapped for the threads, or the screws they provided were the thread tapping type. It seemed odd that the holes were not tapped. Maybe I just received a bad part the slipped past QA?
