If you've ever installed parts before, this was really easy. I'm a 70 year old woman and I do it methodically so my husband can inspect when I'm done. Plugged the range back in and all is working perfectly.

Watched a YouTube video on how to remove the old element and install the new. Had to remove the clips that were on the old element and insert them on the new. Marked each wire to insure I placed them on the correct contacts of the new element. New element worked. Success!

Although the terminals where the wires attach were in a slightly different configuration, I was able to keep them organized by taking a picture of the original and reconnecting them in the same relative positions. Job took about 20 minutes.

Replacing glass top burner element.

Exact factory replacement. First time attempting to replace glass top burner. Take a picture of the wiring connections on old burner before removing wires, as both hot wires were the same color. Two support clips on the old burner, must be transferred to the new burner element. Take your time, it's not that difficult.
