Pretty easy to install. Direct replacement and all the connectors lined up correctly. Hopefully this will extend the life of the softener a few years. The unit was purchased in 2014 and has been good except for this electronic part that lost several of its functions over the last year.

As usual, this timer I ordered for my water softener was an exact OEM replacement part that got my water softener up and running. I order from Sears Parts Direct every couple year when I have a problem. Cheaper that replacing appliances. The video that was attached on how to replace the product which was very helpful.
