Not exactly the same part

Using the model number of my dryer, the site gave this part as a replacement. I knew the color was different (original is black) but I ordered it. When we went to replace it we found that this part has 2 prongs on one end and the original had a prong at each end. I should note that we are replacing the part because the bottom came loose and drawstrings from clothes were getting caught and it was ruining them. we couldn't tighten up the original part. We saw that this part has a premade hole at the top end - we found a screw to fit and attached it to the dryer. We then turned 1 prong and reconnected the other one - so it did work and has a tight fit. No more ruined clothes.

Had an expert install it for $90. Im not a DIY repair person so the thought of taking my dryer apart wasn't going to happen. I hired a local repairman to do the replacement for me. I purchased the part.
