EASY TO INSTALL

INSTALLING THE SWITCH WAS EASY AND QUICKLY DONE EVEN FOR A NOVICE DYI. INSTALLING THE LABEL DECAL OVER THE CONTROL AREA OF CLOCK AND OVEN CONTROLS WAS A DIFFERENT STORY. I RECEIVED THE WRONG DECAL LABEL. IT WAS BLACK WHEN OURS WAS WHITE; NOT A BIG DEAL, BUT IT DOES NOT ALIGN WITH OUR PRESSURE TABS. WE ARE MAKING ADJUSTMENTS TO MAKE IT WORK. IN ADDITION THE FRAME TABS WHICH HOLD THE MOTHER BOARD WERE BROKEN ON ONE SIDE SO HAD TO BE REINFORCED WITH WASHERS TO PRESS THE FRAME TO THE BOARD SECURELY AS POSSIBLE. IN THE END IT WILL WORK WITH ADJUSTMENTS.

Took only pliers and screwdriver to replace two heat controllers in less than twenty minutes. There are seven wires to each so it is best done one wire at a time.

Easy to install the new switch

Fairly easy to install. Removal of the failed switch is easy after removal of the back panel. Remove one wire at a time from the failed switch and then put it on the new switch with same pin marking. Remount new switch with shaft flat edge facing up.
