Assembly instructions should come with the part but all in all the part works great and I feel like I have a new washing machine. Would highly recommend replacing a part vs. buying a new washing machine. A no brainer! Older machines are better made than today's models.

Timer arrived without threaded holes.

The replacement timer was a direct replacement for my Kenmore Washer except that the two holes used to mount the timer to the washer's instrument panel were not threaded when received. Sear's support confirmed the holes should have been 10-32 threaded holes. Had to purchase a 10-32 tap to thread them before I could install the new timer, lengthening the time I was without a working washing machine. Once I threaded the two holes the installation went smoothly. Advised the seller to inspect it's inventory for this non-threaded condition to spare other consumers this unexpected hardship.
