Wrong part sold
I wanted a gasket for my fridge, and the part is no longer made by GE. I called sears, and gave them the part number. The person on the phone said they have the part in stock. I told him the part is no longer made. He assured me they do. When I received the part, it was the wrong part and wrong size. I returned it. When I called to get the refund, the person I talked to, said that is correct, the part is no longer made. However, he offered me a gasket from another GE fridge model. He assured me that even though the fridge model is different, the gasket will fit. Sure enough when I received the part, again it was the wrong size. I returned it again. I guess this way they make some money from the shipping. Otherwise, I cannot think why two persons assured me the parts will fit, when in reality they did not. The return was simple though.

Poorly prepared for shipping
Poorly prepared for shipping. The white gasket had black marks on it from the conveyor belts. Another few inches of tape would have locked inside the cardboard, and avoided the damage.
